Road Vehicles
Over the years members have built a wide range of road vehicles including steam road rollers, agricultural and dredging tractors, ploughing engines, showman’s engines and other steam haulage vehicles. These are sometimes operated at Northcliffe on the woodland paths but are more frequently taken to steam rallies. The models range in scale from 1” to the foot to 1.5”; 2”; 3” 4” and 6” to the foot.
General Engineering
There are many other fields of activity within the society where members pursue their own particular sphere of modelling. In recent years our members have produced machine tools, clocks, vintage cars, stationary steam engines, “0” gauge steam engines, miniature petrol engines and many other varieties of models. You can be sure that if it can be modelled then there will be someone in the society who has done it!
